KIC - Visa Counselling Program

KIC has started enrolments for its Visa Counselling Program for fall 2009 applicants to US colleges and universities.
This program is designed to guide a student and his / her parents (sponsors) with all aspects of the visa process.

Highlights of the KIC – Visa Counselling Program:

1. Counselling sessions with Prof. Ganesh Kohli
2. Interactions with student’s parent (sponsor) on financial planning
3. Guidance for preparation of financial and academic documents
4. Intensive training for visa interview - 5 to 8 rounds of mock interviews
5. Special emphasis on psychological preparation
6. Free participation in pre-departure program for enrolled students and their parents

Fees for the KIC – Visa Counselling Program:

Rs. 6,000/- (inclusive of 12.36 % Service tax)

Registration procedure for the KIC – Visa Counselling Program:

The registration has to be completed at the Bandra Center on or before January 24, 2009. The service is available from this center only.
To enroll for the program, you need to complete the following formalities:

1. Fill up a registration form (provided at the Center)
2. Complete a questionnaire (provided at the Center)
3. Submit 5 passport size photographs
4. Pay the fees either by cash or cheque (cheque is made payable to “KIC”)

For further information and free initial counseling, please meet Prof. Ganesh Kohli with a prior appointment.
The first session on financial planning for enrolled students and their parents (sponsors) will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2009.

Procedure to use the FedEx service through KIC -

Step 1: E-mail the complete and correct university address with a phone number and a fax number to couriers@kiceducation.com. Please note that couriers cannot be sent to post box numbers. The details sent on email should match with the address on the envelope containing your documents.

Step 2: Submit your packet at the KIC Bandra center (address below) along with an amount of Rs. 650/- in cash

Step 3: Ask for your tracking number and airway bill. You can track your packet online at www.fedex.com

Important Note: Packets submitted before 5 pm will be dispatched the same day. Packets submitted after 5 pm will be dispatched the next day. Do not seal the packets before submitting them.

Latest Updates - July 2008 KIC Events

KIC conducted seminars at various colleges across Mumbai. These seminars saw hundreds of students attending presentations delivered by Prof. Ganesh Kohli on the options available to students after B.E / B.Tech like MBA, M.Tech, Engineering Management & M.S. in the US etc.

Prof. Kohli also conducted GRE specific class to help students get much more clarity on the GRE sections and how challenging the verbal section can be which was appreciated by the students who are going to prepare or already preparing for the exam.

KIC has extended support to various organizations like IEEE, CSI, Biotech Departments, College festival sponsorships etc.
Three TSEC students from IEEE group are doing their projects at KIC and have worked extensively on the KIC website.
