Congratulations to Akil Merchant for recieving full funding for studying in the US

1) KIC Visa Counselling Program - 1st session at Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana on 8th February, 2009

KIC conducted the first session of its visa counselling program for fall (August) 2009 applicants and their parents/sponsors. Prof. Ganesh Kohli discussed the F1 student visa – general requirements, financial planning and documentation. This was followed by a question and answer session where parents/sponsors & students had their queries addressed by Prof. Kohli.

At the end of the session, Prof. Kohli had one on one interaction with the parents / sponsors and students.

As a token of appreciation for their hard work during the application process, KIC T-shirts were distributed to all students. The students left the venue with a smile on their faces and ready to take the final steps towards realizing their ‘American Education Dream’

The afternoon session was a pre-counselling orientation fall 2010 applicants. The session provided insights into the application procedures for admission to US colleges & universities. There was also guidance available to students on building their profile to ensure admission at top universities.

2)KIC conducted a seminar at Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC) in association with IEEE Computer Society on 18th February, 2009 at 4 pm on providing guidance on further education in the US. http://www.ieee-tsec.org/
